The Society for Wildlife Forensic Science is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for Sportsmen to hunt elk, deer or pronghorn in the great State of Wyoming while also supporting the fight to keep wildlife forensics alive and well. Commissioner Price of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department has again generously donated a “Commissioner’s License” to assist the Society with the work being done to address the questions of standardization and certification of wildlife forensic practitioners. The license winners can hunt elk, deer or pronghorn in any region or hunt area in the state (with the exception of the National Parks which have special regulations, please see the Wyoming Game and Fish web site for additional information). The species and hunt area must be declared at the time of application. Holders of Commissioner Complimentary licenses shall be exempt from the provisions limiting the number of licenses an individual can possess in any one calendar year.
Bids will be accepted by phone, email, or mail until 5:00 pm MST on February 26, 2016. The minimum bid for each is $10,500. The first confirmed bid of $12,500 USD will secure the license authorization. Contact Tasha Bauman at (307) 760-9336 or lynn03tink@yahoo.com or send bids to: Society for Wildlife Forensic Science C/O Tasha Bauman, Vice President, 1228 Arnold Street, Laramie, WY 82072.
The winner must purchase the appropriate license from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department within 10 days of notification. Please include complete contact information with all bids. The winner of this license will be assisting with the management of many significant social and conservation issues related to the illegal wildlife trade and wildlife law enforcement.
